ABOUT ME
JUSTIN D. TJADEN
OWNER
I am an attorney based in Lake County, Ohio, serving clients throughout Northeast Ohio, including Ashtabula, Geauga, Portage, and Summit Counties. My practice focuses on business law, real estate matters, and civil litigation.
I approach legal issues with a practical mindset shaped by both legal training and real-world experience. Before becoming an attorney, I worked across a wide range of industries and roles, from small businesses to larger operations. That experience allows me to understand not just the legal side of a problem, but how it impacts business decisions, financial risk, and long-term outcomes.
In my practice, I work with business owners, property owners, and individuals facing disputes or complex decisions. Whether the matter involves a transaction, a developing conflict, or active litigation, my focus is on understanding the situation fully, identifying what matters, and helping clients move forward with a clear and effective strategy.
I received my law degree from the University of Akron School of Law, where I trained in its nationally recognized trial advocacy program and earned a Certificate in Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. During law school, I competed in national trial competitions, gaining experience in case strategy, evidence, and courtroom advocacy that continues to inform my approach today.
After graduating, I practiced in Akron, handling a wide range of litigation and legal matters. That experience, combined with my background outside the law, allows me to work effectively with clients from many different industries and backgrounds—from business owners and entrepreneurs to individuals dealing with significant legal challenges.
I remain actively engaged in my community and have served in leadership roles, including on a board of economic development in my hometown of Julesburg, Colorado. I value direct communication, practical thinking, and a straightforward approach to problem-solving in both my professional and personal life.
I live in Geneva-on-the-Lake with my wife, Hannah, and our pets. Outside of work, we enjoy spending time in the community, reading, and following a wide range of sports.
